What we will never do.
•
Sell, share or rent your data to advertisers, recruiters or anyone else. Ever.
•
Use your audio to train AI models — third-party or our own.
•
Keep your audio beyond the grading window. Audio is deleted within minutes. Transcripts survive only if you ask for a progress report.
•
Process your data outside the UK or EEA. Hetzner Falkenstein for storage; OpenAI EU endpoints for grading.
•
Make 'delete account' anything harder than two taps. Account → Privacy → Delete. Done.
WHAT WE COLLECT
And why.
Account info (required)
Your email + name. Used for login, weekly progress emails and refund requests. Encrypted at rest.
Audio (transient)
Your speech is uploaded for AI grading, then deleted within minutes. Transcript is kept so you can see your own history.
Usage telemetry (anonymous)
Which buttons you tap, which lessons you finish, which days you skip. Anonymous, aggregated. Used to make Angie smarter. Opt out any time.
Payment info (Stripe)
Card details never touch our servers. Stripe holds the card; we hold a token. PCI compliance is theirs to maintain.
YOUR RIGHTS
GDPR / UK GDPR.

Access — download every piece of data we hold on you. One tap in Account → Privacy.
•
Correction — fix anything wrong. Same place.
•
Deletion — wipe everything in 30 days. We don't slow-walk this.
•
Portability — export your transcripts and band history as CSV / JSON.
•
Objection — opt out of telemetry without losing access to the product.
For any of these, the fast path is Account → Privacy. For anything not in the app, email privacy@britwise.school. We respond within 30 days, usually within 5.
