Accessibility Statement
Britwise School Ltd · Updated 14 June 2026 · WCAG 2.2 Level AA target · EU Accessibility Act 2025 + UK Equality Act 2010
Our commitment
Britwise is committed to making britwise.school and our learner / teacher / HR / caseworker portals accessible to as many people as possible, including users of assistive technology, screen-readers, magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
Conformance status
Britwise's public marketing pages (pricing, enterprise, public-sector, schools, learners) are designed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and we are working toward full conformance. Recent Lighthouse audits on the homepage and pricing routes score in the high 90s for accessibility, with deep portal pages under continuous review. Known gaps are documented transparently below.
Features we support
• Keyboard-only navigation across the marketing pages · • Visible focus indicators on interactive controls · • Body-text contrast targeting ≥4.5:1 · • Resizable text up to 200% without breaking layout · • Captions planned for all video content when video is added · • Audio playback speed controls in the learner app · • Active programme to add explicit `accessibilityLabel`s on every interactive control across the portal (in progress — see gaps below).
Known gaps (we're working on these)
• Coverage of explicit screen-reader labels on interactive controls is currently partial — full sweep target Q3 2026 · • Some interactive charts (e.g. ROI dashboard) lack ARIA labels — fix target Q3 2026 · • Mobile tab bar contrast on certain colour themes below 4.5:1 — audit in progress · • Live class video has no live captioning yet — Q4 2026
